One thing he does have in common with Dante, however, is his rebelliousness: he wields guns, despite the Order's general prohibition against them and he doesn't really believe in the Order's religion and cares little for the legend of Sparda. He is a choleric character, who is quick to succumb to his emotions, which leads to several outbursts and eventually his capture. In contrast with Dante's laid-back and occasionally flirtatious attitude, Nero is a serious, cynical, sardonic and somewhat anti-social person.
